Catherine is constantly inspired by the natural forms she sees all around her – seed pods, succulents, cacti and sea urchins, these are the sources for much of her creativity. By combining her skills at sculptural work and the use of multiple glazes, Catherine reinterprets natural forms to create beautiful ceramic art pieces.

“I really enjoy cacti and the forms created as they make their way in harsh climates. These sculptures are my personal interpretation of this wonderful plant and I have used multiple glazes to give the forms movement and express the vitality of the plant. They can be used as candle holders or simply as stand-alone sculptural pieces.”
