“I call these type of forms ‘Sea Urchins’ because this is what they remind me of.  However they also echo other natural forms such as cacti and other succulents which I am continually drawn to as an artist – to paint and to sculpt.  These jars also relate to my Dream Box forms as they create their own space inside to keep something special – like a found butterfly wing or perfect stone!”
