“I really enjoy cacti and the forms created as they make their way in harsh climates. I try to interpret these forms in my ceramic work and use multiple glazes to express the shapes and vitality of the plants.”

Catherine is constantly inspired by the natural forms she sees all around her – seed pods, succulents, cacti and sea urchins, these are the sources for much of her creativity. By combining her skills at sculptural work and the use of various glazes, Catherine reinterprets natural forms to create beautiful ceramic art pieces.
