According to African mythology God sent a chameleon to earth to tell men he would grant them immortality. The chameleon walked slowly and got distracted on the way…. Perhaps one can imagine him stopping on the head of a beautiful young woman adorned with roses and fragrant fuchsias. Sunbirds and humming birds encircle her and she’s unaware of the chameleon and his mission. Meanwhile a lizard tells men they have to die and so mankind’s chance to live forever is lost…. and the chameleon is blamed.
