The KAROO is a semi-arid scrubland occupying much of the South African interior plateau. Extensive sheep farms with remote homesteads dot the peaceful landscape which has a unique beauty. In this design, a characteristic windmill dominates the scene, with Helmeted Guineafowl drinking at the reservoir; distinctive flat-topped Karoo inselbergs appear behind.
